The treasury website currently lacks a simple calculator to calculate bond values. This API uses the published rates from the US Treasury to calculate bonds based on their purchase and sell date as well as the bond value. For bonds less than 5 years old, the penalized value is also returned. Please reach out to me if you see any errors. Rates updated: Feb 11, 2023
