Calorie Calculator

The recommended daily calorie intake is calculated using the Harris-Benedict equation, which takes into account the user's age, height, weight and gender. The BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is calculated first, and then multiplied by 1.2 to determine the recommended calorie intake for maintaining weight.
